Love & Honor

"Changing of the Guard"

"Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth." Ephesians 6:2,3

Frederick Osgood a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of WWII passed away Dec.7 of 2016 on Pearl Harbor Memorial Day. With his passing on this day, you could say that he gave his last "salute" to the brave ones that died and those that survived Pearl Harbor. He honored his country with his service and his country honored him with the "Distinguished Service Medal" for 25 years of service. (see link below)

Recently he received the greatest honor of all when his great grandchildren visited him and spent time with him. Because of these visits the love between the old and new generation was fostered and the hand drawing (top right) is the demonstration of that love. The drawing was made by his great grandchild Kaylin.

This is how the baton is passed from one generation to the next, with Love and Honor.
